Pin-Jui (Tzi Ma and Hong-Chi Lee) is leading an unhappy life. Once a free-spirited young man in Taiwan, he had to migrate to America and leave the love of his life behind to seek better opportunities and find financial stability. There, he got stuck not only in a monotonous job, but also a loveless arranged marriage. Now, he is on the verge of spending the rest of his days alone as he cannot get along with his daughter Angela (Christine Ko).
