Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
Filmmaker Morgan Elliott takes a sharp, incisive look into the local politics of Potsdam, New York, as Hank Robar, a local senior citizen, battles the stringent regulations of the village. For over twenty years, eighty-two-year-old Hank has protested the village government, decorating his lawn with toilets repurposed as flower planters, which came to a contentious head in a seven million dollar lawsuit. With Hank's story, Elliott interrogates the role of the government in dictating an individual's freedom of expression.
