John Kennedy Toole: The Omega Point collects interviews from scholars, friends, and associates in an attempt to piece together the life of the author. Directed by Joe Sanford with a musical score by Jay Weigel, Toole (A Confederacy of Dunces) lived in New Orleans and this documentary examines how the city influenced his life and writing. This film won the Rising Star Award for Excellence in Film at the 2010 Canada International Film Festival and was a finalist at the 2010 New Orleans Film Festival.
