Throughout the 1950s, Lucille Ball (Nicole Kidman) and her husband, Desi Arnaz (Javier Bardem), dominated prime time television as its leading comedic duo. Yet over the course of one week, while producing another segment of Ball's noteworthy television show, alarming allegations and a political scandal threaten to upend the fame and fortune Ball and Arnaz built together, crises that possess the potential to dismantle their marriage as well.
