Synopsis by Phil Griffin
After learning she has a terminal illness, widowed former police officer Rose (Cybill Shepherd) decides to take a solo road trip across the American Southwest. On her journey, she makes new friends and relies on old ones, finds herself romantically involved with an aging cowboy named Max (James Brolin) and reconnects with her adult son.
