Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In the second half of the two-part X-Men adventure "Proteus," the title character, a young mutant with the power to alter his surroundings, discovers that the father who abandoned him is now a prominent politician, hypocritically running on a "family values" platform. Angered, Proteus intends to unleash the full fury of his powers to destroy his father and his consitituents. Only Xavier, mentor to the X-Men and close friend of Proteus' mother Mona, can stop the boy before it is too late.
