Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
The Native American legend of the Wendigo lives on in this tale of a small-town sheriff and a traveling physician who find themselves face-to-face with a force that threatens to destroy them both. In Native American culture, the Wendigo is a cannibalistic force that takes possession over anyone who tastes human flesh, and curses them with an insatiable appetite to consume more. In the process of investigating a gruesome crime scene, a Northern Pennsylvania sheriff crosses paths with a beautiful traveling doctor. Now the further they delve into this bloody mystery, the greater the danger grows. With a pair of malevolent FBI agents, and a gang of ruthless assassins closing in, these two unlikely allies follow a trail of a trail of dismembered corpses straight into the eye of a terrifying supernatural storm. But once they've solved the mystery, will they ever escape alive?
