A compelling story about a nonconformist in a society that values conforming, this tale by director Borislav Sharaliev is as much about Bulgaria as it is about romantic love. Young Rado (Ivan Ivanov) lives in Sofia and is a growling tough guy who tends to lord it over his buddies. He does not go with the flow, he frankly runs against the current and this makes him a loser in the eyes of the world around him. The one exception is the woman he loves, someone who understands why he acts the way he does. Fate makes her the inadvertent wake-up call that Rado needs to finally lead him out of adolescence and into adulthood.
