Synopsis by Matthew Tobey
The tragically beautiful visuals of decayed urban areas are juxtaposed with the heart-wrenching stories of where some of America's most prosperous areas went wrong in this 2006 documentary. Co-directed by husband and wife filmmakers Lorena Luciano and Filippo Piscopo, Urbanscapes focuses its attention on rundown parts of Detroit, Newark, New York and Chicago.
