Set sometime in the 1930s, Thomas Nöla's audacious prequel to his 2005 film The Doctor finds Bruno Helden and his fearless protégé setting out on a global adventure punctuated by blood and loathing. No lawman can apprehend the murderous "gentlemen," but by the time the czar finds out about their exploits all hope of reaching Hindustan may already be lost.
