Song of China, also known as The Way of Heaven or Filial Piety, is a 1935 Chinese black-and-white film directed by Fei Mu and Luo Mingyou. It was produced by the United Photoplay Service, also known as the Lianhua Film Company, a leading studio in 1930s China known for blending artistry with nationalist ideals. Released in China in 1935 and later in the United States on November 9, 1936, Song of China was one of the first Chinese films to reach a general American audience, albeit in an edited form.
