Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Series regular Gillian Anderson made her X-Files writing and directing debut with the April 9, 2000, episode "all things." Not surprisingly, the episode focuses on Agent Scully, as she seriously begins to question the choices she has made in her professional and personal life. Scully's journey of self-discovery is triggered by a chance encounter with her former teacher, Dr. Daniel Waterston (Nicholas Surovy), the first of several coincidental events. Colleen Flynn guest stars as crop circle researcher Colleen Azar, who may hold the answer to the questions raised in the course of the story.
