Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
When a New Zealand journalist makes a disturbing discovery about a beguiling old man she recently met in Cuba, she takes a trip back to the Caribbean Sea island country in hopes of sorting out a tangled web of intrigue. Helen Smith was vacationing in Cuba with her family when she met Nestor Baguer. But while it didn't take much for Smith to fall under the old man's charm, she would soon learn that something was horribly amiss. Upon returning to New Zealand, Smith learns some rather unsettling information about the old man. When Smith returns to Cuba on a mission to uncover the truth about Baguer, the mystery only seems to deepen.
