With the world ravaged by an incurable viral outbreak and most of mankind dead or in hospital camps, ex-FBI agent Ben (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) finds himself responsible for the safeguarding of Sarah (Ruby Modine), a young woman who has a rare immunity to the deadly disease. But a nefarious gang leader Aaron (John Malkovich) who has allegedly recovered from the virus plans to stop at nothing to kidnap Sarah in order to access her biological immunity.
