Having recuperated from his recent surgery, Red Skelton returned to his weekly TV-series grind with the broadcast of March 14 1961. Ed Wynn, one of Skelton's personal heroes, guest-starred as Muggsy the tramp in a "Freddie the Freeloader" sketch. The premise: Freddie and Muggsy find an abandoned baby in the City Dump.
