Why do we accept inequality and social injustice on so many levels? This is one of the central questions that FAIRNESS tries to answer. Initially, with some surprising social experiments suggesting that our willingness to support dissimilar systems is far greater than we often admit. We visit different countries to see how entire economies have been changed so they can work with more justice. This documentary explores our understanding of justice and what it takes to change an unfair system. In doing so, inequalities in the areas of economy, politics and social affairs are addressed in order to provide a thought-provoking and current view of what equality really means for us.
