Review by Michael Costello

Another movie about a group of male friends sitting around talking about their women problems, this film seems to be composed of dialogue that would have been cut from a canceled sitcom. Three thirty-something buddies with relationship problems, and a fourth who's ready to stray, are the dramatis personae, the prototypical nucleus of many such a (mostly better-made) film. Their self-congratulatory conversations are mostly painfully unfunny one-liners, lame Zen koans, and flaccid banter bearing little resemblance to any known form of communication. There's barely a glimpse of any of the relationships described, so it's impossible to know what these guys are really talking about. After a while the film's machine-gun editing rhythms begin to make one's head spin, and the movie simply seems to be drifting away. It's difficult to find anything to like here, but Jennifer Tilley does have a bright comic bit on an airplane. The rest of the audience would be wise to grab a parachute.
