Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
Documentary filmmaker Eric Trules tells of his complicated relationship with his charismatic career criminal uncle Harvey Rosenberg. Using home movies, original footage, and clips from America's Most Wanted, Trules describes how his uncle and three others were suspects in the 1982 murder of Frank Christi and Trules' own hurt reaction. The Poet and the Con was screened at the 1999 Boston Film Festival.
