Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
"In the Naples suburb Rione Sanità, Antonio Barracano (Francesco Di Leva) earns the nickname of ""The Mayor"" as he ascends to absolute power over the citizens of the village and the Camorra, a vigilante group responsible for maintaining order outside of the jurisdiction of the law by any means necessary. However, Barracano's personal brand of ethics is called into question when a young man requests his assistance in murdering his father. Based on the 1960 play by Eduardo De Filippo, directed by Mario Martone.
