Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Headed by a man named Demos (George Macready), the Re-collectors are a group of homicidal art enthusiasts who kill ex-Nazis and steal back their victim's stolen art treasure. U.N.C.L.E. agents Solo and Illya are assigned to stop Demos and return the masterpieces to their rightful owners. Meanwhile, Gregori Valetti (Theodore Marcuse) tries to beat Demos at his own crooked game. This week's damsel-in-distress, a girl named Lisa Donato (Jocelyn Lane), is so peripheral to the plot that she doesn't even show up until the episode is half over. Afforded considerably more screen time is Jacqueline Beer as Genevieve, Demos' loyal mistress. Written by Alan Caillou (who was undoubtedly aware that guest star George Macready was in real life a noted art collector and critic), "The Re-Collectors Affair" made its first network appearance on October 22, 1965.
