Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Solo and Illya head to African to foil the scheme of T.H.R.U.S.H. scientist Professor Kenton (Arthur Malet) to use the local natives as guinea pigs for his new superstrength drug. Other players in this little intrigue are African premier Khufu (Percy Rodrigues), a washed-up safari guide named Harry Blackburn (Alan Mowbray), an indomitable young explorer named Marsha Woodhugh (future astrologist Joyce Jillson), and Marsha's long-lost sister, a female Tarzan named Girl (Vitina Marcus). This is the one in which Robert Vaughn dances with a man in a gorilla suit. Generally regarded by fans as the all-time worst episode of The Man From U.N.C.L.E., "The My Friend, the Gorilla Affair" was scripted by Don Richman from a story by Joseph Sandy, and first inflicted upon the public on December 16, 1966.
