Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Two prospectors, John Warrington (William Duncan) and Richard Spencer (George Holt), decide to head back East with their thousands in gold dust. But while Warrington is sleeping, Spencer abandons him, taking all the gold and both pack mules. He assumes that his former partner will die in the desert, but he doesn't. A wandering prospector (Otto Lederer) finds Warrington and the two find more gold. After striking it richer than he had before, Warrington decides to hunt down Spencer in Chicago and exact his revenge. While in the city, he meets and falls in love with a young girl (Myrtle Gonzales) who, unbeknownst to him, is Spencer's daughter. Warrington breaks Spencer on the stock market, and is oblivious to his cries for mercy -- until he finds out that Spencer is the father of his sweetheart. His love for her inspires him to forgive his enemy.
