A rather sophisticated series of whodunits that deserves renewed recognition, the Lone Wolf comedy thrillers are lighthearted and fun with The Lone Wolf Meets a Lady as one of the best in the series. Warren William has a wonderful way with a line and is backed splendidly by an unusually game supporting cast headed by that most cunning of gentlemen's gentleman, Eric Blore. Like so many other unfairly forgotten B-movies, this potboiler from Columbia Pictures remains fresher and more entertaining than many a weighty so-called "classic."
