Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Edith Parrish (Ethel Clayton) is horrified when she finds out that her friend, publisher Peter Gordon (Clyde Fillmore), is engaged to Dora (Jean Acker), a flighty and fickle young woman. But she keeps her mouth shut, even though she knows that Dora is seeing man-about-town Ralph Brent (Irving Cummings). Gordon comes to believe that it is Edith, not his new bride, who is involved with Brent. Edith then begins a romance with Gordon's stuffy partner, Blaine (Charles Meredith), who believes one lie can ruin an otherwise upstanding life. Naturally, Gordon tells him what he believes about Edith and Brent, and Blaine immediately turns his back on her. But Brent comes through and proves to the self-righteous Blaine that it's Dora, not Edith, who he was seeing. So Blaine and Edith are reunited, and Brent gets no thanks for his good deed. This picture was the directing debut of leading man Tom Forman.
