Armenian-Russian director Karen Oganesyan crafts this stylish, cat-and-mouse thriller concerning a creatively blocked writer who unwittingly enters into a deadly battle of wills against a cunning assassin. Anton Prachenko (Konstantin Khabensky) is an author who just can't seem to summon inspiration. He senses an opportunity to finally experience something new and unique, however, when he is summoned to hide a dangerous killer named Mikhail (Vladimir Mashkov). But as Anton begins to mine Mikhail's misdeeds for inspiration, he remains hopelessly blind to the fact that the diabolical Mikhail is simultaneously plotting to frame him for murder.
