Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter
German film director Hans Schlumpf takes the viewer to the far reaches of the Earth to visit a congress of Emperor penguins in Antarctica. Spectacular wildlife photography captures on film the daily activities of this magnificent species. They search for food, mate, and raise their young before the camera's eye. The director uses some artistic license to allow the penguins to converse on the state of the world's environment, and how man's encroachment on wildnerness is adversely affecting the Earth's delicate balance.
