Tom, Max and Jade Lansky are left to fend for themselves after their parents are killed in a car accident. Max, a competitive boxer coached by his brother Tom, takes part in illegal underground boxing fights to support his family. Tom makes secret bets and accumulates a large debt that he can’t pay. He owes money to Jacob, a boxer known for his violence. Jacob wants to fight Max and made an offer to write off Tom’s debt if he loses to Max in a fight. Tom is unable to repay his debt and accepts the fight. After a fierce fight in which neither boxer manages to get the upper hand, the match ends in a draw. Disagreeing with the result and enraged, Jacob follows Max, Tom and Jade in the locker room and threatens to kill Tom. Jade grabs a metal bar and hits Jacob who breaks his neck on a sink. Stunned and shocked, Tom asks Jade to take injured Max to the car. He placed Jacob’s lifeless body in the trunk, gets behind the wheel and drives his brother and sister straight towards new future.
