Having temporarily given up their efforts to find a husband for Elly May, Granny and Mr. Drysdale concentrate their energies on locating a wife for Jed. The woman chosen is a friendly lady named Agnes (Kathleen Freeman), whom Granny and Drysdale assume is a millionaire.
