"Thanks for the Memory" became Bob Hope's signature tune and would be played whenever the comedian visited the Tonight Show and other such occasions. Sadly, the little domestic drama of the same title is hardly memorable at all, and really only an excuse for Hope and Shirley Ross to repeat their performances from The Big Broadcast of 1938. The only surprise here is the casting of future gossip columnist Hedda Hopper as one of Hope's high-living and slightly bohemian pals.
