Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
This sentimental but improbable story concerns a poor music teacher worried about supporting his family. He decides he must leave his family to seek employment abroad in order to provide them with much-needed money. He is victimized by a shipwreck and loses his memory, and his wife is forced to accept the marriage proposal of an evil mining official. The shipwrecked teacher manages to return home years later, but his memory is still clouded. The mine official dies while trying to kill the man, setting the stage for a family reunion the teacher probably won't remember.
