Synopsis by Maggie Sadler

In late 1950s Harlem, a young woman named Sylvie (Tessa Thompson) must run her ailing father's popular record store. While working one evening, she encounters Robert (Nnamdi Asomugha), a young musician who dreams of joining a big band to play the saxophone. The young couple then embarks on a whirlwind romance amidst the electric music scene of Harlem. Written and directed by Eugene Ashe. Co-starring Eva Longoria, Aja Naomi King, and Wendi McLendon-Covey.
