It has come down to four remaining contestants as Survivor: The Amazon enters its 37th, 38th, and 39th day. As the players discuss what may be in store for them they are unexpectedly besieged by moths. Once this crisis has passed and the four survivors have been reduced to three, host Jeff Probst shows up to inform the remaining trio that a helicopter awaits them. Thus it is that by the time the final votes for "sole survivor" have been cast, the players have already returned to New York City for the Big Revelation (originally telecast live on May 11, 2003).
