Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The second season of Next Generation came to a tension-filled climax with the July 22, 1989 episode "Shades of Gray." After being attacked by a plant during an away team mission, Riker contracts a strange and potentially fatal illness. Racing against time, Dr. Pulaski subjects Riker to an untested new treatment which may be just as lethal as the illness itself. A goodly portion of the episode consists of filmclips from previous adventures. "Shades of Gray" was written by Maurice Hurley, Richard Manning, and Hans Beimler.
