Synopsis by Jinko Labitag
Despite being the grandson of a Klansman, Bob Zellner (Lucas Till) believes in the surging civil rights movement. To complete a thesis on race relations, he decides to meet and interview Reverend Abernathy (Cedric the Entertainer) and Rosa Parks (Sharonne Lanier). In this little trip, he witnesses horrific acts of racism perpetuated by the police, government officials, and white citizens against black activists. This changes his outlook in life and makes him decide to join the movement for equality. This movie, based on Zellner’s autobiography, is written and directed by Barry Alexander Brown.
