Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Sisters of Eve was based on The Tempting of Tavenake, a story by the prolific E. Phillips Oppenheim. Creighton Hale plays a naive young minister who falls under the spell of married temptress Betty Blythe. Supposedly a woman of independent means, Blythe is actually a four-flusher who keeps her wealthy husband doped up on cocaine so that he'll sign her checks with no questions asked. Only the timely intervention of his true love Anita Stewart saves Hale from becoming Blythe's next victim. The ending, in which hero and heroine find true happiness at last on a remote desert island, is vintage Oppenheim.
