Synopsis by Olivia Cantor
Directed by Kristoffer Borgli, this Norwegian satire focuses on celebrity victimhood in a contemporary image-obsessed world. The film follows Signe (Kristine Kujath Thorp), a woman with an active competition going on with her boyfriend, Thomas (Eirik Sæther). Their toxic relationship is characterized by several attempts at passive-aggressive acts that aim to garner the most attention. Trouble begins when Thomas becomes notoriously famous for creating avant-garde artworks from stolen objects. Not to be outdone, Signe takes pills dangerous to her health in an attempt to steal the spotlight.
