In the depressed inner city community of Inglewood, single father Avery Watts (Nick Cannon) struggles to provide a stable home for his young daughter. The Inglewood Community Center stands as Avery's last refuge, offering a safe space for his daughter to grow and learn while he strives to make ends meet. Yet when the city threatens to shut the center down, Avery vows to assemble a team of skilled women's streetball players to win the upcoming championship game and secure the funds to protect the center.
