Synopsis by Rebecca Flint Marx

A weekend at Aidan's (John Corbett) rustic retreat in upstate New York fully unleashes Carrie's (Sarah Jessica Parker) inner urban warrior, as she discovers she's woefully unprepared to commune with fuzzy animals in an non-air-conditioned cabin. Terrorized by a squirrel, she finds herself wondering at what point the art of compromise becomes compromising. In need of someone who understands, she persuades Samantha (Kim Cattrall) to come for a visit. Samantha is less than impressed with the place -- until she meets the hunky farmer next door (Christopher Braden Jones). Meanwhile, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) is having visitation issues of her own when she agrees to spend some time with Trey (Kyle MacLachlan) at his mother's country estate. While trying to conceive a baby with her husband, Charlotte witnesses an uncomfortable demonstration of mother love when she discovers Trey deep in conversation with his mother -- while he happens to be sitting in the bath. And Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) is outraged with Steve (David Eigenberg) after he confesses to her that he has testicular cancer but isn't taking it seriously. Although he is put out with Miranda's alternate anger and pity, her indignation is enough to persuade Steve to go through with surgery.
