Synopsis by Rebecca Flint Marx

Will, Miranda's (Cynthia Nixon) latest man, happens upon the perfect excuse for not showing up for a date when he drops dead. At his wake, a shocked and dismayed Miranda finds some solace when she meets Jim (Dominic Fumusa), an aesthetically pleasing fellow mourner who also happens to be one of Carrie's (Sarah Jessica Parker) exes. Although Carrie warns her that there was a reason she broke up with Jim, Miranda sees him anyway, and then just as quickly sees that he's a complete louse. For her part, Carrie has her hands full when she agrees to teach a seminar about how to meet men to a group of very dissatisfied women whose questions make her realize that for a professional sex columnist, she still has a lot to learn. Meanwhile, Samantha (Kim Cattrall) gives a few sex lessons of her own to Charlotte (Kristin Davis), who is getting nowhere in her attempts to cure Trey (Kyle MacLachlan) of his listless libido. Although Charlotte is disgusted by Samantha's lascivious advice, she discovers that her friend speaks words of wisdom when she reluctantly follows Samantha's instructions and reaps raunchy results.
