Santiago Auserón has been imbued with the rhythmic wisdom of son since his first visit to Cuba in 1984, an influence that he transferred to his musical career as a mestizo innovation in rock. His current project, Juan Perro, is his sound laboratory and in it he synthesizes Cuba, Spain and New Orleans.
