Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
An independent horror film becomes the catalyst for murder for two filmmakers who were willing to kill to get their big break. The film was titled Through Hike: A Ghost Story. A typical low-budget shocker, Through Hike told the tale of five college friends who inadvertently release the spirit of a 1800s-era coal-mining baron while hiking the Appalachian Trail. But eight months after production of Through Hike had wrapped, the story behind the film got even stranger. Were the director of the movie and his best friend - the withdrawn cameraman who backed out of the production at the last minute - willing to murder in order to realize their dreams of becoming Hollywood filmmakers?
