Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

The rock star of the 1980s skateboard scene recalls his stratospheric rise to the top, and his thunderous fall back to earth, in a gritty documentary that explores the compelling career of vertical air-grabber Christian Hosoi. A charismatic skater whose moves could rival Tony Hawk and whose playful persona drove the crowds wild, Hosoi made an indelible mark on the world of skateboarding with such flamboyant trademark stunts as the "Christ Air" before losing it all in a self-destructive cycle of crystal meth and dangerous living. Though Hosoi would eventually land a prison sentence for drug smuggling, he would subsequently find the strength to turn his life around within the empowering pages of the Good Book. Now fans can finally separate fact from fiction as a variety of family and friends including Tony Alva, Jason Lee, Lance Mountain, and Tony Hawk all offer their own unique perspective on the life and career of a living legend.
