Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
This charming story of an old woman and her dog living in modern Havana is laced with comic overtones and sharp social commentary. Queen, a widowed, former servant lives in the villa of her former employers who emigrated to Miami 20 years before. Her boon companion is King, a dog, who helps her with the housework and keeps her company on her long walks. When the two can no longer obtain meat scraps from the butcher for King, the unusual canine begins to find food in other places.
