On the heels of his father's untimely death and facing his ailing mother's imminent demise, Lala (Akshay Kumar), the eldest of the Kedarnath clan and brother to four sisters, vows he will find suitable matches for his sisters and, upon securing their futures, find a wife for himself. While struggling to uphold his family's values for his young sisters, Lala continues to bungle his romantic attempts on Sapna (Bhumi Pednekar), his longtime childhood sweetheart. Aanand L.
