One of six very inexpensive silent Westerns directed by Harry Fraser and starring Gordon Clifford, a slightly built but wiry actor/stunt-man. According to the only surviving film of the series, The Wildcat, Clifford was a personable actor with a fine flair for comedy. Like The Wildcat, Queen of Spades co-starred Charlotte Pierce. The Clifford series marked the debut of future genre specialist Fraser.
