Purushottam is a 1992 Indian Bengali-language action crime film produced, written and directed by Prosenjit Chatterjee, in his directorial debut. It stars Chatterjee in the titular role, alongside Debashree Roy in the lead role. The film also has Subhendu Chatterjee, Kali Banerjee, Deepankar Dey, Uttam Mohanty and Hara Patnaik in supporting roles. The soundtrack and background score of the film were composed by R. D. Burman.
