Synopsis by Clare Perez-Izaguirre Lopez
Sean (Matt Bomer), a single and lonely gay weatherman, recruits a random Mexican migrant day laborer, Ernesto (Alejandro PatiƱo), to do some painting for him at his house, after seeing him outside a hardware store. Ernesto barely speaks English and Sean doesn't speak Spanish, as conversations are often misconstrued and misunderstood. Soon, Sean begins to take Ernesto on romantic excursions and date-like scenarios to fill the hole in his life, much to the alarm of Ernesto and his wife in this comedy drama written and directed by John Butler.
