Robson (R.E. Rodgers) gets out of the hole, and finds that the Brotherhood no longer accepts him. Desperate to return to the fold, he uses a razor to remove the freshly transplanted gum tissue that offend them so. Thanks to support from McManus (Terry Kinney), Alvarez (Kirk Acevedo) gets a parole hearing, which ends disastrously. While Pancamo (Chuck Zito) clings to life, a distraught McManus tells Dr. Nathan (Lauren Velez) he can deal with all his failures because he's reached one person -- Omar White (Michael Wright) -- but his triumph is short-lived, as White attacks an Aryan inmate who's planning to kill Said (Eamonn Walker). McManus' ex, Eleanor, tells him that all his idealism stems from pride, and that's why she left him. Rebadow's (George Morfogen) efforts to save his grandson appear to have been fruitless, and McManus lets him visit the dying boy in the hospital. Busmalis (Tom Mardirosian) gets a surprise visit from Norma (Michelle Schumacher), but walks out on her when he sees that she's pregnant. Overcome with guilt, Beecher (Lee Tergesen) tells Sister Pete (Rita Moreno) about his involvement in Adam's rape. Schillinger (J.K. Simmons) is convicted of the crime, and ends up in solitary. Keller (Christopher Meloni) ends up on death row. Beecher ignores Said's exhortations and goes to visit the condemned man. Cyril (Scott William Winters) is also moved to death row, but not before having another violent episode. Father Meehan (Malachy McCourt) learns of a traumatic incident from O'Reily's (Dean Winters) past, and finds a way to reach him. Hill (Harold Perrineau Jr.) returns to Em City, and assures Poet (MuMs) that he won't tell Redding (Anthony Chisholm) who sold him the drugs. But the rift Poet created between Redding and Morales (David Zayas) is about to have unforeseen and deadly consequences.
