Fresh from playing a raped high-school girl in two Nikkatsu studio "roughies," Asami Ogawa branched out somewhat by playing a raped policewoman in this pinku eiga melodrama from Yasuharu Hasebe, who had taken the subgenre to its limits in 1977's Rape! 25-ji Bokan. This is a somewhat tamer affair, although Hasebe's handling of the plot line creates an interesting air of dread throughout. Ogawa is raped twice by the same unseen assailant, and develops a bunker mentality, wondering when and if the attacker (whose identity is never revealed) will strike again. The ending feels a bit like a cheat to those viewers attempting to guess the rapist's identity, but the film holds together as a solid thriller nonetheless. Yoko Azusa (Tokyo Chatterley Fujin) co-stars with Kai Abe and Hide Shirai.
