When a group of longtime friends gather together for their annual Christmas celebration, irreconcilable differences and unraveling friendships quickly lead them all to suspect that the tradition may end when they all part ways after the holiday. For the last eight Christmases, these six friends have celebrated the holidays together, but this year things are different. Not only are born again newlyweds Art and Mattie completely hung up on having a baby, but TJ is spewing more vitriol than ever before, and he's even brought along his latest boy toy for shock value. Meanwhile, hosts Julie T. and Julie P. do their best to pretend like their relationship isn't coming apart at the seams, and Art can't seem top go five minutes without making another enemy. As everyone involved begins to feel as if their collegiate family is even more burdensome than the ones they've left behind, the time comes to consider that next year they may be better off celebrating the holidays separately.
